AI lab offers free plumbing and heating repairs to train robots

One AI lab in three cities offers free plumbing and ventilation repair services and uses recordings of the technicians' work to train robots.

✨ What they offer

The AI lab offers free plumbing and heating and ventilation system repairs in three cities. Services also include electrical work, air duct cleaning, and carpet cleaning.

📌 Why it matters

Wearable sensors that record video are put on the technicians while they work. These recordings are needed to train robots to perform practical tasks the way people do. Robots need examples of real work to learn, so this exchange may be beneficial for both sides.

For details, such as which cities are included, how to apply, and whether there are any restrictions, check the lab's official website or the original news source.
